BULK HANDLING COMPANY.
     The biggest growth in the company's operations has taken place in the handling sector when last year managed to handle a figure 1.600.000 Tons. This tonnage figure was made up of the following products listed below:

     Coal
     Clinker
     Cereals
     Fertilisers
     Zirconium
     Ceramics
     Blast furnace slag

     Cesa Stevedoring, acts as Agent for 90% of the shipping vessels that carry the above mentioned products. The discharging rates are between 10.000 and 15.000 Tons. every 24 hours SHEX/SHINC, depending on the material to be handle and the situation at hand.

     The majority of the above mentioned products are dealt with the " Xitá " wharf, especially for bulk cargo which is to be found in the north of the Port of Valencia. It is equipped with 8 Portic Cranes with varied weight capacities of between 16 and 30 Tons. and mobile harbour cranes which can handle up to 100 Tons. (Four Ropes).

     The wharf also provides with a storage warehouse with a capacity of 6.000 m² with another one of similar characteristics in the construction stage.

STOWAGE COMPANY: GENERAL CARGO AND CONTAINERS
     Due to the scarcity of containers in the past Cesa mainly dealt with general cargo and later on they incorporated container handling into their operations.

     Our current annual tonnage handled weavers 300.000 Tons. and 12.000 Teus. ( Figure for 1999 ).
